By WendiFJ from Northern NY on 12/31/2009 Pros: Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Icy Conditions, Rolling Terrain Describe Yourself: Beginner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My husband bought these for me for Christmas. I have only used them twice, but so far I like them a lot. I almost don't even realize I have them on. We only have about 6-8" of snow and it is icy on the top, but the traction has been great as I have been using them going up and down hills and through fields. So far I am happy with them.
By Grandma Jo from SE MN on 12/27/2009 Pros: Compact Design, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: All Terrain, Deep Snow, Flat Terrain, Icy Conditions, Off Trail, Rolling Terrain, Steep Pitches Describe Yourself: Beginner Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've used them a total of about 20 hours in deep fluffy snow, ice crusted snow, semipacked snow, and up and down quite steep hills. They allowed a natural stride in all of those conditions. That's a huge plus if your body has any kind of joint problems. I've had minor problems with the straps staying tightly cinched when the buckles weren't firmly enough pressed parallel to the straps. They also kick up a tad more snow onto the backs of legs than other shoes I have seen used. They seem durable, but it's a little early to tell.

Great snowshoes for a great price By Active woman from Vermont on 01/31/2009 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Flat Terrain, Icy Conditions, Off Trail, Rolling Terrain Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these snowshoes to give the sport a try. I can walk and run comfortably in these with a normal gait (no Frankenstein walk). The quick-release heel strap is handy for ease in removing them. The adjustment straps have loosened a couple times, but if the binding clip is layed flat, the straps stay secured. I can adjust the straps without removing my gloves. I've tried these on packed trails, off-trail in deep snow in the woods and on an icy hill climb. They worked great in all conditions; the crampons bit into the ice and I felt totally stable and secure. Oh, and you can't beat the price on this site!!
By Sun Girl from Saratoga Springs, NY on 01/27/2009 Pros: Compact Design, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight Best Uses: Flat Terrain, Groomed Trails Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: these snowshoes are great ! I used them on packed trails and they allow a natural stride. I don't think they would be good for deep/fresh snow. The straps did loosen up a bit and I had to stop and tighten them a few times. Great product. Great price !
