Great Poles, Just Don't Fall on Them! By Dee Dee from Richmond, VA on 07/04/2008 Pros: Ergonomic Grip, Good Precision, Good Stiffness, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I loved the light weight and stiffness of these poles. Unfortunalely on my fourth day of a British Columbia ski trip, I took a minor tumble and fell on one of the poles. The hollow pole broke so easly, I could not believe it. Fortunately I had an older pair of more durable Komperdell poles that are heavier but much more durable. As much as I loved the feather weight poles for the short time I used them, I would not recommend due to the lack of durability.
Broke the first time I used them By Michelle from Phoenix, AZ on 05/05/2008 Cons: Poor Performance, Shaft Breaks Easily Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The poles broke the first time I used them. Komperdell will not even answer my emails to get the warranty repairs done. Don't waste your money.
