Great light weight bag.
By Pelon MelonVerified Purchaser from San Joaquin Valley, a.k.a. Ring of Fire. on 7/2/2008
Pros:
Adjustable Hood, Lightweight, Signaling search planes, Stows Easily
Cons:
34 length zipper
Best Uses:
Backpacking, Bike Touring, Car Camping
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
What Is Your Gear Style:
Comfort Driven
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
3/4 zip is not the greatest, and like most light-weight bags you must be careful not to snag the zipper, but at this price I'll get over it. Great color for signaling searching aircraft!

overall pleased but did not realize it had only a 3/4 length zip, which is a serious con for a summertime bag (there is a zippered opening at the feet, which helps).

i would not get a mummy-style bag for summer use again (i'm in the deep south, and it is hot and humid, y'all, even at night!). too cozy.

i find i'm sleeping -on- it with a sheet or not using it much so far. it will make an excellent spring/fall bag round these here parts, though.

the bag that comes with it is actually great for storage because it allows the bag plenty of fluff without being hard to store. BUT for actual use car camping/hiking and such, leave the sack that came with it at home and use a compression sack -- this bag can get very tiny in one of those, and it's already nice and light.

this review is mostly about my bad, not the bag's -- but hopeful that my learning curve might benefit others.
