Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was a bit intimidated after reading the reviews, but I'm really glad I got the shoes. I wore them around the house for about a week to make sure I liked them. At first, they did seem small, but now I love them.

I have another pair of J41 shoes that are a half size smaller and fit perfectly. I had hoped these would fit the same.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are great bc they can go with skirts, pants, or shorts - dress up or down. Alas they run small and pinch the achilles badly. I couldn't replace mine for a larger pair and was really bummed. I would recommend only if you don't have very wide feet and can get them in a size large enough for you.

I thought that I would really like this shoe, but it was too busy for me in the end. I am not sure that I like the strap configuration in the flesh!
I already have a pair of j-41s in a 7.5 and ordered three different styles from STP, sadly only one of them fits, my toes are pressing against the front in the other two pairs, this being one of them. These seem really wide too.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really love this brand, but I was a little disappointed because the color of this pair was described as maroon and butter. I would say, they are more accurately colored: purple and mustard. They exactly match the Tibetan flag, which would be super handy if you were headed to a protest march against the Olympics in China, for instance. (I am not being disrespectful, as I am a practicing Buddhist, and these colors really do match the colors of robes most Tibetan Buddhist nuns and monks wear. ) It's just that I expected something more subtle and upscale, judging by the 3 other pairs of J 41s I own. These ARE cute, but they are pretty bright, so I'll probably restrict their wear to jeans and very casual events. Unless of course, I get that chance to protest locally, in which case, bring it on.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a pair of J-41 shoes that are very nice and comfortable and when I saw these black and orange trim ones I was happy to order them but when they arrived they looked as if they had been worn for awhile and the trim was scuffed and the black of the shoe had rubbed off the shoe onto the orange trim, They also ran a little small and I had to return them. J-41 make good shoes but think this pair was defective.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are the first J-41 shoes I have ever owned, and I absolutely love them! They are comfortable to wear with or without socks and I always get compliments on how cute they are! I am looking to buy more J-41 shoes.

The size I ordered felt a full size too small, but it seems that the back lip of the shoe curls up in a way that would be irritating even if you did get the right size.
It's really too bad....the shoe is cute but if you want to wear it without socks then your feet would stink because of the leather and blisters would be a guaranteed.
Very comfy after breaking in
