No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: this boot is very stylish - I liked everything about it except for the white stitching right along the edge of the boot, which was a complete turn-off for me - makes it too sporty looking. the leather is a very nice smooth quality, and the fit was true to size. I returned the boots, as I just didn't think the white thread fit the styling.
