Comments: A quality shoe from Italy. The attention to detail and materials lets one know this is a high-end shoe. The only problem is that they run a bit narrow. You won't be wearing hiking socks with these, but the Rohner casual wool socks work well.
Good support, good value w/mark down

Comments: As others have commented, sizes run small. However the suede uppers are pliable and 'breaking in' OK. I substituted a more spongy 'sport-type' inner sole for the one provided.

Comments: I bought these for my husband and thankfully he loves them! The right shoe was a little snug in the width at first but, his foot's a little wide in one spot. He tells me that they've broken in nicely. He's even been wearing them to work.

Comments: From the picture, they looked like a well made shoe. Upon receiving the shoes, they looked like a well made shoe - quality materials, attention to stitching and design. They were not the most comfortable shoe when I first put them on, but I have had good shoes that took a day of wearing them to break them in. The Scarpa shoes, after wearing them to school for two days, made my feet hurt so bad, I could not walk normal. There was nothing odd about the shoe, and as I said they appeared to be a high quality shoe, but I have never experienced that level of discomfort from wearing any other shoe.
great men's trail shoe(even for a woman)

Comments: Walk up and down woodsy trails daily and love the traction. Look great, hold my foot stable, terrific construction, no rubs or hot spots. The more I wear them the more I love them. If I were a guy with a narrow foot these would be the ticket. Probably not good for a wide foot(at least in the smaller sizes). Never had Scarpa's until now. Great sale price through Sierra Trading Post!

Comments: Seem to be really good shoes, feel great under foot, but simply too narrow to wear on a hike. I wonder in hindsight if the prevalence of small sizes (40 and under) means that these are built on a women's or youth last, which would explain the narrow toe box. Will certainly try Scarpa again, but am returning these.
