Comments: First time out it worked like a champ. Handled 22 inch trout without a problem. Casts well and seems to be a good value for the dollar.

Comments: I was really happy when I received the rod. It was a great price and while I was a little nervous about the made in China thing and the "you get what you pay for" rule, I discovered that it was nicely finished, light, responsive and had lots of casting strength. The reel seat is beautiful and the rod tube it came in would withstand about anything.
