Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: I'm a plus-size woman, so I needed a pair of boots that provided stability without adding even more weight for me to carry around - these boots are perfect. I also suffer from plantar fasciitis, and these boots did not aggravate at all, even after hiking all day. Only downside - the blue/green color may not appeal to some and the suede is hard to keep clean. I would definitely buy again.

Comments: these boots look well constructed and are comfortable out of the box. The ankle area seems a bit bulky in spots and puts some pressure on the front of the ankle. I figure this is the area that needs wearing in...all in all very comfortable. I use them daily for hikes and sometimes all day. Great light hiker.

Comments: I bought these boots for an AT hike I have planned in July. I wanted to purchase them early so I would have a chance to break them in. They really didnt need much breaking in. They are the most comfortable pair of shoes that I own. For backpacking boots, they are really light but very heavy duty. I took a gamble ordering them online without trying them on but I am really glad that I purchased them.

Comments: These boots seemed they would've been perfect for me, except for a badly sewn seam in the tongue that gouged into my foot so painfully that I tried sticking a piece of cardboard between the boot and my foot. It was agonizing, right on the edge of a bone, it was a nightmare.

Comments: I bought these boots just three weeks before leaving on a hiking trip to Patagonia - not a wise thing to do but I had no choice. They were comfortable from the get-go. By the time I left for my trip, they felt like I had been hiking in them for months - not a sore spot on either foot.
