By Ski with your familyVerified Purchaser from The OC on 5/20/2008
Sizing:
Feels true to size
Pros:
Comfortable, Great Peripheral Vision, Headphone Compatible, Protective, Stylish, Well Ventilated
Cons:
Difficult to Adjust
Best Uses:
Skiing, Snowboarding
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Great product. Not as many sizing adjustments as other options in the line, but the fit was perfect for me as is. Sizing adjustments are nice as you may want to vary what you wear under the helmet depending on the weather and this helmets adjustment options are limited. I understand that the newest models that are now out have more adjustment options. Either way, I am happy with my helmet as it is.

Feels true to size
Pros:
Comfortable, Protective, Well Ventilated
Best Uses:
Skiing

Bottom Line:

Comments:
This helmet was a great deal. Light weight and good ventilation. Easy to open and close vents. I was between a large and xl and needed to go xl. The removable portion of the liner that comes down to the back of your neck does need to be broken in a bit- it mildly irritated my neck after skiing all day-- but my wife has the same helmet with no worries!!

I was wearing a Fues helmet when I took a very nasty fall this winter. The helmet absorbed most of the hit (and broke in the process), but I am sure saved me from serious injury.

An old model of a great helmet
By StefanVerified Purchaser from Clovis, CA on 3/18/2008
Sizing:
Feels true to size
Pros:
Comfortable, Protective, Well Ventilated
Cons:
Difficult to Adjust

Attaching the removable earpads is awkward. The attachemt has been improved in the latest generation of Giro Fuse helmet.

The helmet fits great but it is an older generation that may not be compatible with newer accessories, namely bluetooth equipped earpads.

Love this helmet. My head is on the borderline for size, and I ordered the smaller size. Helmet for now is a bit tight with balaclava under, but should fit very well when fully broken in.
