This is a great base layer for those cool rides. I use it between 50-60 degrees under a short sleeve jersey. Below 50 I go to the long sleeve version.

Good Baselayer
By TomVerified Purchaser from Albany, NY on 06/02/2008
Pros:
Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking
Best Uses:
Cycling
Describe Yourself:
Competitive Athlete
Fit:
Feels true to size
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I use this as a baselayer under a cycling jersey so I want it to be snug. Normally I'd wear a 42-43 but because I wanted it close fitting I got the L which I think was 40-41. It does a very good job of moisture movement. You know you're sweating, but your torso feels dry. This is nice because it keeps you from getting as cold when you go down the hill you just got hot while climbing.

Long time admirer
By Tee OVerified Purchaser from TX on 05/11/2008
Pros:
Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Warm
Cons:
Small due to snug design
Best Uses:
Cold Weather, Hiking, Snow Sports
Describe Yourself:
Weekend Warrior
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I am always excited to see a new round of CRAFT apparel show up on the site. These are some of the best shirts for outdoor activities. They will keep you warm for their relative light weight and wick away the perspiration at the same time. They are an undergarment and not for stand alone wear. The snug design may be a bit constrictive for some and would recommend order next size up if this is so. As a base layer under fleece and hard shells hiking up your favorite trail, this is the answer.

Craft manufactures the best insulating underware I've ever used. The Craft Pro Zero Base Layer Shirt is no exception. It wicks moisture away from your body while keeping it warm and comfortable...exactly what you want in a piece of cold weather active clothing. I like the short sleeve option also because it allows better movement of the elbows.
