Flat jaws at tip are ideal for mashing down barbs. The eye cleaner (pin) is useful.
By Riff from Toledo on 03/30/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy To Maintain, Easy To Use Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Comments: A bit too short - go for a 6-inch tool. I bought'em for the hook eye clearing tool but they won't be long enough to get out a swallowed hook.
By Jamie from Holcomb, KS on 03/24/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy To Maintain, Easy To Use, Functional Best Uses: Fresh Water, Traveling Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Not useful as a hook removal tool due to the 4" overall length, but good when you need a third hand to hold something in place.
