By Dry Fly from South Bay, Ca on 10/01/2008 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Used it a couple of times before giving to a friend. Liked the workstation with black backing & the zingers but little else. I found it hot to wear, and difficult to keep in place. The pockets / compartments are not well designed for my needs especially on the front of the pack.

Great day trip fishing pack By mffjm8509 from Colorado on 08/03/2008 Cons: Zipper operates one way Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This pack is great for a day on the stream or water.
Both sides easily hold a medium size container, and plenty of storage pockets.
If you target multiple species, you may want to set up two of these packs to prevent stocking and changing what you keep inside.
By Lastchance from Central, PA on 07/21/2008 Pros: Easy To Maintain, Easy To Use, Functional, Light when loaded, Rugged material Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this pack to use for hot weather fishing during trico and terrestrial season. It's easy to use, light, and appears to be made of rugged material. It holds plenty of boxes and gadgets. I'll probably use it into the fall and winter.

Great for a day on the River By Fishing the James from Richmond, VA on 06/19/2008 Pros: Easy To Maintain, Easy To Use Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Comments: This has 2 large pockets for 2 tackle trays, plus some slotted pockets. Fits comfortably over the shoulders and around the chest. I am a bigger guy so I was worried, but this is easy to use and allows for plenty of movemet when casting or pulling a fish out of the water.
By Sparrowood from Tidioute, PA on 06/16/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy To Maintain, Easy To Use, Functional, Lots of storage pockets Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this pack to use in my canoe. It conveniently holds all my incidentals (sunscreen, bug gunk, knife, lunch, water bottle, camera, etc.) in one place. I straddle it across the thwart and snap the buckles to hold it in place. It's easy to remove from the canoe at lunch stops or portages, where I can wear it and free up my hands for carrying the canoe. It also has external straps for attaching small items that I might need readily such as my compact binoculars. I haven't had it long enough to find any "cons."
A pair of hidden zingers!! By orio from Hokkaido Island, Japan on 05/12/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy To Maintain, Functional Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It has a couple of wire zingers hidden at each side, which can hold a clipper and forceps. Would have been better if it had a pair of zipper handles (has only one).
