By Cold Michi from Brooklyn, NY on 10/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Bulky, Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: City living, Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It hasn't snowed yet here so I can't vouch for it's use in snow, but it's been very good during the early winter temperatures here in NYC. I have worn it through cold rains and my feet stayed very dry and warm, but they didn't get sweaty which is important.
I am prone to a low body temperature/hypothermia, so I really need a good warm boot and this serves its purpose. They ARE a bit clunky/heavy, and I suppose could stand to be a bit cuter, but they do what they say they will do and that's what is most important.
By satisfied shopper from super snowy WNY on 10/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Bulky, Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these boots to wear in rain and blizzards in western New York State. They're very warm; I only need one pair of socks so far and I doubt I'll need to add another pair when winter gets here. They are big and bulky so if you're looking for stylish boots I wouldn't recommend them. But if you're not worried about fashion then I would definitely recommend them for their warmth and water-proofing. They seem very durable, like they will last for years. I bought them from sierra trading post for about 50% less than other sites I researched.

They were huge though. I definitely recommend ordering a size down.
By Brwnskngurl from Chicago, IL on 10/22/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I had to return these. They didn't come in half sizes so I ordered a size up.. Big mistake...order a size down....they're kinda cute and look like they can do the job of keeping your feet dry....I commute and carry a bag,and purse. Put that together with a winter coat, snow, slush, gloves, hat and scarf...these boots were just too heavy for me!
