Comments: I took this PFD out on the Potomac. When I capsized, this baby was perfect for me. I'm a fly fisherman so the giant space in the arm pits allow me to move freely. I love it!
Double check the size you buy
By longtime STP customer from Salt Lake City UT on 6/19/2008
Chest Size:
Feels too big
Pros:
Comfortable, Durable, Good Ventilation, Lightweight
Best Uses:
Boating, Not kayaking, Paddling, Wakeboarding, Waterskiing
Describe Yourself:
Aggressive Rider
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: This may be designed for long torsos. Don't get one in a too-big size, check your measurements and order the smallest one you can fit in. The straps are too long to adjust down to fit a smaller torso, making it vulnerable to riding up when you're in the water, which defeats the purpose of wearing a PFD. I have a different style from this company and love it.

Comments: disclaimer: have not been down in the water with this, so my review may not be worth much in that regard. but wore this during a two-day canoe trip recently and was happy as a clam with how lightweight and functional it was while in the boat -- great storage without bulk, lots of adjustment. i think folks are more inclined to wear pfds (rather than just use them as seat cushions) if they fit well, and this one does. glad i discovered extrasport...smart cookies.

Comments: I love what extrasport makes--they really know their stuff! I got this to replace a lost Sabre that I bought from Sierra about 6yrs ago (which was still holding up beautifully). There are some nice improvements to the pockets and straps but still that same wonderful no-chafe fit. Tons of shoulder freedom. I'm happy paddling all day!
"Great PFD but beware of Women sizing"
By Batfreaks from Smithfield, Utah on 5/13/2008

Pros:
Comfortable, Durable, Good Ventilation, Highly Adjustable, Lightweight
Best Uses:
Boating, Paddling, Wakeboarding, Waterskiing

Comments: This PFD is comfortable, light weight and includes plenty of pockets. It provides plenty of ventillation and room for movement. However, be aware of the size being listed for women. My wife is a petite 5'4" and the S/M was too large for her. It is true to size for me (male 6'2"). This PFD is suited for a variety of outdoor uses and is a great deal.
