Comments: Great Boot for most winter activities. As a Paramedic/Ski patroler I use this boot quite often from everything from working under the lift line to back country rescues. This boot performs very well in all tempatrues that I have encountered.

Comments: Great boots at an unbelievable price. I rated these boots 4 stars only because I have not yet had a chance to use them. But so far I am very pleased with the boots themselves. I puchased them one half size larger than my street shoes and they fit great with my SmartWool mountaineering socks. I would buy them again!!!!

Pros:
Comfortable, Roomy American Fit
Cons:
Interior is very rough
Best Uses:
Heavy Snow, Vertical Ice
Bottom Line:

Comments: I haven't used these enough to comment on performance. I have a terrible time finding boots for my wide feet, and these fit well. More rocker to the sole would be nice for hiking. The interior is covered with a very coarse mesh that gives the boots a sandpaper feel on bare feet. I haven't been able to tell yet if that friction will translate to blisters while wearing socks. Overall it seems like a very warm design.

Comments: I tend to have problems with heel blisters, but the Vasque fit and duct tape seem to minimize the problem. The boots are generally very comfortable. I have gotten cold toes ice climbing in them, but I tend to have cold toes easily -- can't blame it on the boot. My plastic boots are warmer, but not as versatile. The boots have performed well ice climbing and on the approach.
