I've never once gotten a blister in them and I can wear them all day long and they're still comfortable!! That's rare for me.I use them for backpacking, day hikes and walking the dog. They are also fairly stylish, so i can wear them with jeans or whatever as well. They are great!!

Just bought my second pair for backup By LisaChristine from Sylmar, CA on 12/20/2007 Pros: Breathability, Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I hike 7 days a week with my dogs through uneven terrain. I have very weak ankles and these boots have saved me from many twisted ankle injuries. I love these boots, I have worn them all day at times with complete comfort. They breathe well and even on the warmest or coldest days, my feet stay at a comfortable temperature. I cannot say enough postive things about these wonderful boots. I bought a second pair because of the closeout.

This is my 2nd pair and I love how strong they are. They are a bit hot to hike in the summer, but very sturdy for my ankles.
By imhappy from al on 12/06/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a well made boot. They are a bit stiff at first, but thats how they should be. They don't have the sneaker feel like some vasque and other boots have. I don't know if I'll ever go with another boot - I think I found my favorite.
Buy these boots and hit the trail By 2manyhorses from Phoenix, Arizona on 10/26/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Asolo fits a narrow foot well. This boot has enough stiffness for support yet still very comfortable. Everything here is rocky and hot, and this boot has worked very well.
Great overall hiking boot. By lovetotravel from Ponte Vedra Beach on 09/11/2007 Pros: Great Traction, Non-slip sole Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold weather, Day hikes Describe Yourself: Day hiker - all terrains Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My review is supposed to be for the Asolo FSN 70. They seem like they need a break in period as do many well made boots. They are stiff but once you lace properly for your needs, they have great ankle support. If you have a wide foot with a narrow heel, you may not enjoy these. I have a narrow heel and heel slips alittle. I'll be taping my heels for blister prevention. I'd do this with any boot. The front area is wide enough and plenty of room for toes! I bought the size I get for sneakers and have plenty of room for heavy socks. I also replaced the inserts with sole inserts. I'd give these 5 for durability except the soles are not vibram and have no idea how long they will last. Not all the Asolo's sold have gortex so I can't say this style is waterproof. Good luck and try on.
