No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I wore these as home-office slippers. They wore out and blew up after 2 months. The wool under my heel wore away to nothing. The rather exposed thread holding on the sole came undone and the sole started flapping. Other slippers have held up for years under the same duty.
