The bands around the calves are onthe tight side. I have to pull them up closer to my knees. Overall these perform well.

It was rainy and probably 47 degrees F, but the capris made me warm immediately after putting them on. I like them because they don't suffocate my legs like the full length leggings and they provide air without chilling your legs too much either. I think that it's great for temperatures that are increasingly colder. I would definately recommend them to anyone who is an active runner and doesn't want to die from frostbite or suffocation.

The "phantom waistband" (I've tried them on NB shorts before) was barely noticeable and the material was nice, soft and breathed well. Kept my muscles nice and warm (it was about 46 degrees this a.m., cold for us Californians).
