Comments: Great to wear under a ski helmet to provide snugger helmet fit and moisture absorbtion. The latter definitely helps to keep you warmer without getting you sweaty (like a thicker hat would)...also the "stink" is aborbed by this[$] easy-to-wash hat, not the $100+ helmet. Not really warm on it's own and doesn't fit very tightly so I could see it blowing off if it's windy. I'm a 6' male with an average size head (with slightly less-than-average content) and wear the size L/XL and find it slightly big.
Perfect for my fastpack kit

Comments: It is a light weight hat, and relatively windproof. It takes little space in the backpack. There is sufficient warmth if you are active such as on a back country walk or on snowshoes/backcountry skis. It is usefulo also when you make camp (or break camp in the AM). It is probably not warm enough for sitting out on a frozen lake in the wind ice fishing.

Comments: this beanie has a snug feel to it, and with its thin profile is perfect for under a helmet while boarding or biking in cold weather. also, it's great for jogging when you don't want your ears to freeze off but don't want your head on fire.

Comments: This is a thin skull cap that keeps my bald head warm on moderately cold days (down to about 20). I use it for trail running and like it a lot.

Comments: I bought this to wear while running. The color, brown, wouldn't be my first choice but since I don't really care what I look like while running it doesn't matter. I'm a 6'2", 200lb guy and apparently have a not one-size head, because this fits a bit small and often feels like it might pop off. It is a very thin material, which makes you forget it is there, but it also isn't very warm - which is fine when the weather is mild but not freezing. THe biggest downside to the product is its slow drying time. I've worn it repeatedly in the rain and while it did a good job keeping my head warm despite the cold rain, it didn't dry out in a reasonable time (I could still wring it out after several hours). For the price, not bad, especially if you have a medium-sized head and plan to wash/dry it after working out.
