Since it's still over 70 degrees out, my feet are sweating in them, but they'll be wonderfully toasty for the winter. These are really soft inside and have a more durable sole than I expected. The elastic is not too tight and fits well right below the ankle. The overall fit of the shoe is great-- I wear a 5.5-6 and the small fits perfectly. I can see how these might not be the most breathable slippers, but the trade off seems worth it. They're plush little sleeping bags for your feet! I'll be buying more for my parents.

They are so comfy and warm however I wish they were easier to "slip" on!

With the great rubber sole, they didn't even get wet. I was walking through mud and the down never got wet. Great!
By Linda from Kenosha, WI on 03/24/2008 Pros: Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Describe Yourself: Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Other down slippers my wife has tried had a very thin sole and wore through quickly. These have a sole that is not overly stiff and will last a reasonable amount of time (this is her second pair). The slippers are nice and soft and nice and warm.

They keep my feet nice & toasty without getting too hot. They are comfortable and easy to get off and on. I like the non-slip sole.

I have a short foot and a high instep and have always had trouble finding slippers that don't make the top of my foot ache. With the Acorn down slippers, I can even wear socks! And they are perfect for stepping out to retrieve the paper or take the dog out. My perfect winter slipper!

The only thing i would change is the tightness of the ankle elastic it feels very snug at times.

They're not beautiful or fancy but are great for sitting around the house in. I am on my feet at work and also have slight bunions so I like my shoes a little wide. I tend to think they may be *slightly wide on someone who doesn't have that problem, but to me, they are like wrapping my feet in comfort at the end of the day. Fine for outdoor use like taking the garbage down to the curb.
My 92 year old mother loved these. By Becky from Montrose, MN on 12/27/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Sole, Warm Describe Yourself: Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My 92-year-old mother had to get used to these but she liked them once she did. She has toes that cross over and so felt the top of the slipper, but it was okay once she walked in them.
