Boys shorts look good on girls By MC from Atlanta, GA on 03/06/2008 Describe Yourself: Career, Casual, Classic, Conservative Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I haven't worn these shorts yet. I would recommend buying the next size up. I'm a girl and the shorts fit a female body nicely.
As with all MH gear- sizing is off By troutmustard from St. Paul, MN on 12/11/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable Cons: Fabric pattern, Sizing is off Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend MH pants and shorts don't fit me well. There's no "tween'er" size w/ their gear- either it's too small/tight in the one size or too baggy/gathered with the other.
But still, even with the lose fit in the larger size, I must say I like these shorts.

By Nick from Ohio from Columbus, OH on 09/19/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Laboring, Travel Describe Yourself: Practical Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like these shorts a lot. They kind of have a hemp feel to them, although they are not hemp. Very comfortable and feel like they'll hold up, like Mountain Hardwear products are known to do.
By Mark from Madison, WI on 09/14/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Cons: secondary velcro closure Describe Yourself: Practical, Stylish Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good-looking, solid pair of casual shorts. Button closures on side-pockets are not particularly practical
By Greg from Albuquerque on 09/11/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Practical Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shorts fit great-the 36 waist was perfect, neither too loose or tight. One thing annoying about cargos is sometimes they can be very baggy at the leg, which these aren't. The length was good, just above the knee so you don't get that embarassing 70's SHORT SHORTS look.

Overall a great pair of shorts! By Brandon from Boulder, CO on 09/11/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Handy accessory pocket, Perfect length, Versatile Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Overall, these are a great pair of shorts. The waist seems a little small initially, but once they get broken in their perfect! There's a small zipper accessory pocket that's VERY handy for something like a cell phone. The cargo pockets could use another button, but I haven't had any problems with things falling out.
