Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This hat is not very flexible which translates to not being very comfortable. I suppose that's the price of having a weather-proof hat. This is going to be my bad weather hat- can't see wearing it every day. Great price, however.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This hat felt rather small for the sizing. It was of very good quality and clearly waterproof. As a backpacker, I was looking for something with a broad brim (which this had in spades) but also something crushable (which this is not). Most of the instructions that came with the hat were about how it had to be brushed after getting wet and how it had to be stored to retain its shape: a bit too high-maintenance for me and the uses I had for it. Also, though it is stylish, I wasn't fond of the leather headband.
