Lotus, who cares if it's an '06?
By iztimaVerified Reviewer from PA paddler on 09/04/2008
Pros:
Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Easy To Put On And Take Off
Cons:
None
Best Uses:
Colder Water, Paddling
Describe Yourself:
Weekend Warrior
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
For a nice change, you had these in size small, so I grabbed the EKG shortie and this. I'll have to have the sleeves shortened, but that's no biggie. My long sleeve NRS jacket started peeling at the neck after only two years. I have Lotus PFD's and jackets and they last a long time. I would expect men to order up a size or stangle getting the jacket on and off.

Perfect when temperature drops
By easy gliderVerified Reviewer from seattle area on 08/17/2008
Pros:
Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable
Cons:
Hard To Put On Or Take Off
Best Uses:
Paddling
Describe Yourself:
Competitive Athlete
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I stuff it into my dry bag so that when it gets cooler towards dusk I don't get too cold. It does the job of keeping me dry but don't mistake it by using it for much below 50 degrees for warmth.

Good-fitting protective top
By NagemVerified Reviewer from Gainesville, VA on 08/05/2008
Pros:
Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Easy To Put On And Take Off
Best Uses:
Boating, Paddling
Describe Yourself:
Beginner
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Product was used as an outer layer with a Farmer John wetsuit. Appears to fit well over the wetsuit, and the neck, wrists, and waist do a fair job of keeping water out. Did not use in extreme cold, just mild/cool, but it did well.

Good for Dinghy Sailing
By mk from virgina on 12/27/2007
Pros:
Good Value
Best Uses:
Dinghy Sailing, Sailboat Racing
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
This is a great light weight top for spray and splashes. It isn't that warm but breathes real well. It doesn't do to well in the rain since the seals aren't taped so it will leak threw the seam of the neck gasket. But I love it over a wet suit or rash guard. I also love how it packs up small and light. I payed something like [$] for it and you can't beat it at that price. Much better then any other spray top i have used that was less then [$]For when it's cold or nasty out I have an amazing Henri Lloyd top.

excelent when combined with spray skirt in cold conditions; kayaking. however the neoprene cuffs chafe a little, I imagine that is simply a result of the lack of use.
