Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Although the shoe has laces, the shoe functions as a slip on. The sole does make a squeaky sound on wood or vinyl floors. Only had a few days, but enjoy the shoes very much.

Comments: Wearing these outside is fine, but out of the box they make a shrill squeaking sound on my wooden floors. Hopefully it will be reduced as they get some wear, because they are really nice shoes, tough, lightweight and comfortable.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought as a very casual shoe for weekend use and summer cabin. There is no arch support, so it is not a great all-day or walking shoe.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The shoe is great. Looks and feels good the first time on even without socks. I wish the laces were a little stronger, they seem like they would tear easily if walking in the woods thru the bush. The leather feels strong and durable yet with a soft insole that wraps the foot for a nice snug fit. The pull up strip on the heel of the shoe is convenient for easily putting the shoe on. Overall great shoe by Patagonia!!

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these mainly for walking, both casual and exercise. Upon receiving them and trying them on, I was distracted by a phone call and after several hours realized I had forgotten that I was wearing them. They seemed "broken-in" right out of the box - and then they just got better. They have an interesting odor - not a "bad" odor - reminds me of my Aunt Emma's farm.
