No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The medium size was too small. Barely fit my 4 year-old's head. I sent the item back. Easy return, though.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As a former Recon. Marine I prefer to wear a boonie cover when it isn't too cold. This hat is the combination I have been looking for: protection from the rain with out an over sized brim to block periferal vision. Looks good too. Yes, I could wear a hood, but that limits the senses, i.e. eyes and ears.
