Pros:
Comfortable, Durable, Stable

Comments: Jogging and walking trails with the dogs each morning, the shoes I buy must be stable and protect my feet from stone bruises. These shoes do that very well. Apart from the tendency of the soles to collect small stones from the gravel soil, the 903s have no shortcomings. They are an excellent value, even at full price.

Comments: These will be great for my line of work...standing on pavement can be hazardous to your legs and feet and my Chiropractor recommended this brand.

I walk/run three to four miles a day with my dog, as well as use them for light approach hiking. For the heavy duty country we have in Idaho and Wyoming, I would not do any serious hiking with them. The New Balance off-trail shoes are the most comfortable, durable and stable shoes I have encountered.
The catalogue warning about the shoes running a half size small was very valuable. I do wish that they were available in B or narrower width as I have a AA width foot.

Comments: I had two choices, the nb846 which I find to be a pretty good shoe and this unknown, the nb903. This is a REAL nice shoe after two runs. It fits well (ordered 1/2 size larger). As I "break" this shoe in I will add more to the review, but so far I LIKE IT.

Great shoe. The minute I put it on it was 'me'.
Best fit, feel and wear of a shoe for me in a long time.
