Comments: These boot are awesome! I have tried many boots and none compare to these. They are very light and yet amazingly stable and comfortable. I hiked through three feet of snow in yosemite and my feet stayed warm and dry! The only con is if they do get wet inside, they take a long time to dry due to the padding. Great value on a great boot!

Haven't hardly worn the boots, they are substandard in size (previous Merrells these replace, were smaller in size number, fit better, and were accurate against other shoes I own so marked.)
They appear well made, for a disposable type of hiking shoe; I do not expect to be able to repair even the most subtle flaws when they develop into product failures and would only hope for a refund when the soles come off the uppers, or the leather splits. Structural integrity has been good with my other Merrells.
Even so, some of my better hiking shoes (in a real forest area) have been some KMart hiking boots; those rare models they only make one season that looked like Italian boots... Or real heavy duty real Italian mountaineering boots; those last 30 yrs.
If these shoes fit properly after a little more use, I may keep them. I'd hate to think I would have to ask for size 12 shoes when I normally can wear a size 10.5 or 11 in usual medium size!
