It does fit and I may enjoy wearing it when the weather gets cooler.

High quality, but rather heavy By Sis from SF North Bay on 03/20/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Versatile Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Eclectic Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It was a match for my long linen skirt. The skirt actually weighs significantly less than this vest, which is surprisingly heavy. But since it has two complete layers of linen/tencel fabric, the vest is quite durable, and the weight helps it to drape nicely. If you're looking for something truly lightweight, though . . .
I would buy that vest in other colors By Colored Bird from Queens, NY on 03/04/2008 Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Classic, Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very nice, I am impressed with that. Good price. Could be reversible if you put double bottons, and take the tags off.

Almost As Office-Dressy As A Jacket!! By The Practical Sister from State College, PA on 12/04/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Color-Compatible, Good Cut, Seasonless, Versatile Best Uses: Office-Worthy, Seasonless-Dressing Describe Yourself: Appearance-Aware, Get-Real, practical, Pragmatic Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: When I tried this tan vest (which I plan to give as a gift to a close female relative) on, it looked very professional with a solid, deep-coral, 3/4-sleeve dress. I think the tan vest would also look really classy with black, (i.e., black-and-tan); medium plum; classic red; or a light or medium apple green. The two front slant pockets automatically make the vest look dressier than one with the usual horizontal pockets. In addition to the front princess seams, the adjust-to-fit back ties also allow the vest to project a refined degree of femininity. As an unexpected surprise, the vest has two interior (hook-and-loop closure) security pockets. All-in-all, for those times when a suit jacket is maybe just a little too professionally-"stuffy," this vest will help you to appear very workplace-approachable AND professional at the same time.
