Perfect little pack!
By Christan the ConsumerVerified Reviewer from Sacramento, CA on 08/18/2008
Pros:
Good padding, Very adjustable
Cons:
Small Capacity
Best Uses:
Day trip, Diaper bag
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
What Is Your Gear Style:
Comfort Driven
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I used this for a diaper bag on a recent outing to San Francisco. It was very comfortable to wear trekking around the city on foot. The capicity isn't large by any means, but it's enough to hold a few diapers some food and a change of clothes. Plus, it's small enough that when the little one hits Kindergarten it would transition to a kid pack. Very durable!

Comments:
My recently-graduated daughter has used a small Timbuk2 messenger bag since the first grade. Now that my 8 year old will be biking to school, I was happy to find a Timbuk2 backpack that is not ridiculously big on her. They are very water resistant, smartly designed, with bombproof construction. It holds a regular 1" school binder plus a couple of smaller books and lunch. And two water bottle holders on the outside are great for day trips. Thinking about getting myself one!

I bought this for my child starting kindegarten. It's small size is perfect, and the curved straps make it more comfortable for her to wear. I was even able to squeeze a full size folder in before zipping. Well made, and sure to hold up to its daily wear and tear!

Small Capacity

Comments:
Great bag for the cost expecially because it is a Timbuk2 so you know it will hold up for years. It has a small capacity but if you aren't looking to carry a lot of stuff it will work plus when packed full it doesn't cause a lot of shoulder pain unlike with other brands. It is best used for carying small loads due to the small size.

Casual/ Recreational

Comments:
I have used the Lula Daypack for trail walking when I don't want to lug around a heavy backpack. It is a well built backpack. It seems small sized for a backpack but I was able to carry my medium sized camera, cell phone, snacks, a towel, insect repellet, sunblock and other items. It has two outside pockets that can easily fit a water bottle. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Comments:
I chose this because of the small size to get a quality school bag for my 4 and 5 year olds. MUCH better than the flimsy action hero and Princess bags normally available for kids. Great size for this and my wife wants to borrow one for her "purse" during her travel to Africa this summer.
