I ordered the right size for me and when it came it actually felt too small; I was bummed. But, I curved the brim a bit and wore it for about ten minutes and the band stretched out a smidge and it fits perfectly now. The shell is cotton, so I wouldn't suggest bringing it on an adventure as your only headgear if theres a chance of it getting wet and you can't dry it out before the temperature drops.
I love it for around town, exploring the woods, and sedentary activities in cold weather.
Such classic design, quite warm, very functional, and all for the price of a sandwich.
