Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This really can compete with my Barbour. The lining is amazing. Probably will prove to be warmer than the Barbour. Many of the interior pockets are in the same area which may prove to be a problem when they are used. Time will tell. I have also ordered the shooting jacket which hasn't arrived yet. Will have to shop for the button in liner.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been a waxed-cotton fan for many years and stumbled upon John Partridge recently while shopping for a new winter coat. I was immediately sold on the quality and design of the Partridge products, especially when compared to some of the other better known waxed cotton brands. I went home and shopped for Partridge on STP and found this coat was on sale...what an amazing value!

Great "grab a coat out of the closet" coat! It's gone to shows & dinners with me & then off to the Apple store. Leather trim are nice finishing touches. Shoulders are right on the mark, but the "body" of the coat is a little large. Not for a fitted look.
Interior sleeves slide great no matter what you're wearing. MOLE SKIN??? Who knew! Great & durable stuff!
Didn't expect to like this coat THIS much.
I am very very satisfied!!

Owned several other branded waxed cotton jackets/coats.... not that many players in waxed cotton.
This coat is of much more overall refinement and detail to the others. The moleskin rocks!!!
