By a particular shopper from south east, MA on 12/05/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile Cons: Very incongrous interior Best Uses: Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: I am a particular shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: As usual, Mountain Hardware has produced an outstanding product. It is a sharp looking jacket, rugged, but lightweight. The major surprise that I had upon opening it up was the lining. As advertised, it was indeed a satteen quilt, but what took me aback abit was the NEON YELLOW color. Not quite what I expected with a sage colored exterior. Overall, had I been informed of this interior color, I would have considered twice prior to purchasing this jacket.Well, sometimes one finds true gems [...], but I fear this product is only a diamond in the rough.
By Jeremy from Portland, OR on 11/30/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Warm Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very Stylish, fleece neck lining keeps my neck warm when cold and windy. If I ever get lost out in the snow I could turn the jacket inside-out and be seen for miles!
Tough and rugged shell with retro lining By run 4 ur life from Greenville, SC on 09/11/2007 Pros: Durable, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Conservative, Trendy Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Comments: In the short time that i have owned the product i have noted that it seems very rugged and durable. You could say that it is a go anywhere, do anything sort of jacket. From walking down town, to working on the farm, to sitting around the fire, this rough and tumble shell will keep you warm and looking sharp. However the only drawback that i have noticed would be the "road paint yellow" lining. I apreciate the retro styling but im not sure that it fits with the image this jacket has to offer.
