By Mod Ron from Metro Detroit on 09/23/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, This is a perfect jacket Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a spectacular find. The jacket is on the heavy side of a middleweight jacket. The leather accents are of high quality. I can see this jacket being used for years and years and then handed down, it's that good. The red cotton liner is fabulous and I just discovered that the lower pockets also have a rear entrance (and are also lined in red). It's just a great jacket and I can't wait for the cool weather to arrive so that I can wear it everyday.

By Teisias from Sydney, Australia on 12/28/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Well executed Cons: Heavier than expected Best Uses: Too good for daily use, Travel Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have no complaints at all. The design and execution are excellent, and it seems a pity to use it for ordinary daily use. The weight overall is rather heavier than I expected, but that is hardly relevant - I will just wear it more in colder weather.
I selected the jacket for particular requirements, and it abundantly fulfils those requirements.
I would not recommend it to others - I prefer to be the only one here with such a great jacket!
"you'll need long arms !" By Pat.......the whistler from Rochester, Illinois on 12/12/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Warm Cons: Sleeve lenght too long, sleeve length too long Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Comments: this is a well made product. however, I have 35" arms and the sleeves of this coat come down practically to my knuckles. gonna have to see what alterations I can have made to them. otherwise, a very nice garment for the money.
By None from North Carolina on 12/05/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The jacket would be fine if Orvis hadn't skimped and put on a flimsy awkward zipper. It is the devil's own job to link when donning the jacket, and extremely annoying. Otherwise the coat is fine.
