Comments: [...] THIS coat at THIS price= WOW!The product: The jacket combines a classic field coat/barn jacket with very modern, unique and fashionable styling. If it's Woolrich, the fabric is great; as is the construction, and this jacket offers features that are both up-to-the-minute stylish and classicaly functional.Reversible- Nylon Out, wool-lined for inclement weather; Wool out, nylon- lined for warmth and daily use. Stand-Up collar for wind and cold protection, storm flaps, hand-warmer pockets, as well as a number of snap and zip pockets for storage of glasses, cell-phone, etc. Very Nice. And all these elements of function are "assembled" in a jacket that looks like it came out of an Italian designer's showroom! In my opinion, this jacket is a winner, and at the price offered as a Sierra Trading Post Close-Out...Too good to be true. I'm very glad I saw it on-site and ordered one. I'll be using it on my trip to Alaska this summer- I can't wait!

This my first Woolrich product and I am more than pleased. The wool is casual texture, about that of a pea coat, but half as thick. The coat is perfect for northwest weather, but can be warm when the temperature rises above 60 degrees. I dig the many pockets, the water resistant reversable blue and the grayish kaki color of the wool side.
I am a 46" chest, long arms, 36-40" waist (depending on the workout routine). The body is a bit to full for me, but not displeasing, just kind of puffy like a waist length parka might be.
Overall a nice casual fall coat for every day wear.

Comments: The snaps are all falling off the wool side of this coat! I'd expect a little better than this.

I've been a Woolrich loyalist my whole life. I'm athletically built and the products are generally consistent in terms of fit. This product, however, is problematic. First, for a medium, it seems fairly big and there is no mechanism to improve fit - sitting just below the waist, the coat lacks a draw-string to tighten against the body. Second, from an aesthetics standpoint, the coat just didn't live up to expectations. I liked the reversible aspect, esp. since I travel. However, the pockets on the nylon side are fairly dominant cosmetically and just didn't work for me.
I can recommend the product, simply because of the brand and the quality, but I can't recommend it to someone who has an athletic build; you fill in the blank....

Comments: I wasn't sold on this coat based on the photos but a quick trip to the Woolrich site let me know what a bargain this was so I ordered one. I wore the coat to work today (office setting) and received many complements. It's very warm and it's Woolrich too, so I'll have no problems wearing it on my hikes in the Appalachian mountains.
