Comments: It is spring and I just received the jacket. It looks cool...I got the green and the embroidery stitching is purple...and I like it! It very well fitted and slightly longer to keep the cold out from the bottom. It is VERY warm.
Wish I could have one in every color!

Comments: This jacket went beyond my expectations. It's lightweight and cozy warm. I love the trim fit also. It's great all by itself or can be worn as a mid-layer. I've gotten many complements on this jacket. Love it!

Comments: I was looking for a warm, technical jacket with some style that I could use for hiking and outdoor activities as well as for casual wear. I am very pleased with Mountain Hardwear's Flip Jacket. The weight to warmth ratio is excellent, has a comfortable, non-irritating collar where the jacket zips up and has a flattering fit. I usually wear a size 2-4, and having read the other reviews, knew that the sizing runs small. I ordered a size 6 and it was still too snug around the shoulders and chest area, so I exchanged it for a size 8 and it fits perfectly. I highly recommend this jacket - you'll get lots of use out of it!

Comments: I've only had this jacket for a few weeks and I've already purchased one for a friend of mine. So much versatility... great by itself, and perfect for layering under a waterproof shell. And since it's reversible, it's wonderful for travel... 2 jackets in one! I will say that you may want to buy a size up from your regular size. I'm usually a size Small/4 and I had to get a size 8 to be able to wear a light sweater underneath.

I love the reversible aspect of the jacket - two for the price of one! This jacket runs small, and if you have big hips, it may not fit you too well. I'm small, 5'4", 110lbs (I have no hips) and size 6 is snug around my waist/hips. But it's fitted, so it's nice.
I have the medium blue, and I have to admit I never wear it on that side, I much prefer the dark blue. I've gotten numerous compliments on it - it's a nice break from the usual black jackets you see on everyone.
I wore this on my bike recently on a very cold, windy day, and much to my surprise it kept the wind completely out, and I was toasty warm - too warm if it was a proper ride (it was an errand).
It breathes well, too. I wore it under a non-breathable plastic jacket while fishing, and when I took the top jacket off, the Flip jacket was wet - it had breathed through that jacket but moisture got trapped under the shell which was not breathable.
This jacket does not have pit zips, but if you unzip the hand pockets on both sides, it works just like pit zips as it connects through.
The little adjuster knob at the back of the neck snags my hair when I have it up, but it's not too much of a bother.
This jacket would be absolutely perfect if it came with a hood.
All in all, I love this jacket!

Comments: This jacket is a great, non-bulky, down alternative. Perfect for cold weather hikes when worn under a waterproof/windproof shell. I am tall and thin (5ft 10in, 130 lb) and always have a hard time finding clothing that fits right. A size ten fits perfectly!

Comments: I usually wear a size 6, but I got an 8 in the jacket, I know how mountain hardwear is. It's snug, but that's how I like them. Probably couldnt wear a huge sweater underneath, but you dont need to because it's really warm. I was skeptical of the medium blue, but it's actually a really nice color, not as bright as in the picture. I was wanting a down jacket, but I love this sooo much better, it's not as bulky.
