I'm an 8 (waist 29"/hips 36"), & the waist was almost 5" too big. But I love them, fabric soft/cottony, & they're perfect as hipsters.
I got the lt blue/turqoise, tried it out with black panties & only showed thru a little. Will be perfect with lighter color panty. I didn't buy them for water, so haven't tested them wet.

But... yeah they are a little big in the waist, which I can take in. But they don't have much shape and certainly doesn't compliment any body parts. My biggest problem is that you can see my underwear through the pants. That kind of stinks for me. I think they'll be going back.
