I tried alot of softshells before I found this one--it's worth the wait! I got it for winter hiking and backcountry skiing, but I end up wearing it everywhere including work. Its light weight and clean lines make it easy to wear under waterproof shell; I got mine a tad big to be able to wear more layers underneath. The collar is the right height & easy to zip up when it's chilly, the sleeves are long enough to reach up (nice gusseted armpit) and NOT too bulky. I love the versatility, looks, and wear--my first one is wearing like iron, but I love it so much I wish I'd bought three! The second one (~2007-08) is slightly longer and slimmer than the first (~2005-06), but otherwise features are the same.
