It is amazing all around! If they had it in stock I would buy other colors too, not to mention the steal of the price Sierra Trading Post offers.
Some of the best features are the zip-off snow skirt, which is like an interior belt to keep snow from going up your jacket/shirt, the removable hood which has real seam shaping (not giant circular blob) and great faux fur, the wrist gaiter things that allow you to cover your wrists, your thumbs poke through, and keeps snow out between your gloves and jacket. Also I read somewhere there was a "floral print" and I though, hmmm, what will it be when I receive it? It's a modern swirly design just on the front side about 6" tall, in a subtle-ish gray (on the white jacket), looks like a block print. Very pretty!
All around this is a great jacket, very high quality construction. I do wish it had more stashing pockets (for an id, MBTA bus/train pass, or keys) and maybe something for headphone for an mp3 player, but it does have two netted interior pockets and a little baggie of lots of spare parts for the coat including actual *gasp* metal clasps and such (not cheap plastic or a couple of threads). It also features four pockets in front (two over the bust) and the pockets are soft and toasty warm for your hands.
Note, it is down filled (or similar filling) but it's fairly lightweight. This is ideal for active outdoor wear, but not best for perhaps more casual, inactive roaming in cold weather...or waiting for the T.
It's a little tight in the chest if you're a bit of a busty girl, but still fine for comfort.
I never thought in a million years I'd like a white jacket, but this is Awesome!

I will not wear it until next winter's ski trip, so I cannot comment on its performance on the slope. But it fits and looks great!
