By kyerdr from Waterford, CT on 01/29/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Waterproof Cons: Velcro is poorly stiched, Wears Out Quickly Best Uses: Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Comments: Jacket is great as far as being waterproof. The velcro sleeve closures are poorly sewn and the arm pit zips are kind of in a wierd location. Besides that the jacket is good.
By Willard from Grand Junction, Co on 12/26/2007 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Room for layering, Waterproof Best Uses: Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very light weight. Well made and fits well.
By Stacky512a from Escondido on 12/11/2007 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket has a short tail and front. When fully zipped up, it goes to high over the mouth. The hood cannot be concealed or removed which I find unusual. Moreover, it does have left hand zipper, along with another mens Lowe Jacket I've got from here. Is it Lowe or is it [...]? OK, but for the price or little more, I'd have gotten something else.
Some odd features, hope it's waterproof By Kurt from Portland, OR on 10/30/2007 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Presumably waterproof Cons: Left hand zipper, Odd placement of pockets Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Initial impression: fat sleeves (for big sweaters?), pockets in front poorly placed under armpits, vent zips are on the back of upper arms, nice inside mesh pocket. The jacket rides higher than I expected: if you zip it up all the way it covers my mouth on top, and is just above belt on bottom. Oh, and my jacket is clearly tagged as a men's model but has a woman's left hand zipper! A somewhat odd product. On the plus side it is very light, and has good build quality. I just hope it lives up to its waterproofness.
