Stunning Workmanship Beautiful Jacket By Kaz & Pedro from Scotts Head, New South Wales, Australia on 05/05/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We are casual hikers/holidayer's, however we enjoy the cooler climates so a jacket that could withstand these conditions is what we needed and the Marmot delivers. Extremely well put together and multifunctional. Would definately buy Marmot again and again.
By Bluewater 42 from Portland, ME. on 04/24/2008 Pros: Breathable, Overall fit excellent Cons: Pit zips snag on fabric Best Uses: Casual Wear, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping, Sailing, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Typical Marmot quality but pit zips tend to snag on inner liner most of the time, requiring taking off the jacket to "un-snag" a pain. Maybe as fabric breaks in this will go away.
Other than that, great wet weather parka, excellent arm "freedom" makes it ideal for active situations where arm movement is included.
