Comments: I would usually wear a size 4, but I ordered a size 6 in this coat so I could wear a heavy sweater underneath. The size 6 coat felt more like a size 4 no matter what was underneath, so I'd recommend going up one size. My husband did not think the box-stitch pattern on the front was very figure-flattering. Since the collar always stood up, I was afraid I'd get makeup on it every time I turned my head to drive my car. I loved the hidden zippers and the beautiful inner lining, but the negatives outweighed the positives this time. I'm planning on returning the coat.

Comments: This jacket is absolutely beautiful, yet it is extremely warm. We just returned from skiing at Wolf Creek Ski Resort in Colorado where we skied one day with temps in the teens while snowing. I'm from Texas, and I don't like cold weather. However, this coat kept me warm and dry with 2 thin silk underlayers beneath my snow bib. I bought the green color. I got so many compliments during the 3 days we skiied. Of the thousands of people there, I saw only 2 other jackets that looked remotely similar. I also appreciated the obscure zippered compartments everywhere, including on the forearm where I kept chapstick and gum. Although this coat is lightweight, the form is on the 'puffy' side like many down jackets. As one reviewer noted, it could have been a bit more slimming in the waist area. However, the beauty of this jacket compensates for this small design issue. Lastly, this price is better than any price you will find in a local retail ski shop for this brand/quality. If they have your size, pick it up. You won't regret it.

Comments: So, my husband really hates down jackets. He thinks they make people look like snowmen, and I have to agree. But I really wanted a down jacket because they are SO warm. I tried this jacket out because it looked like it wasn't your average "L.L. Bean Down Coat". WOW, when I got the jacket, I was so impressed. It fit really well through the chest, I thought it could have been a bit slimmer through the waist, though. I felt like it was designed for someone with a tummy. I'm normally a 0-2 (dress size) and I got the 4. The sleeves could have been a 1/2 inch longer (but I do have long limbs). When I zip it up, it just looks great and totally not snowman-esque. My husband loves it, too! I got the coat in pink--and it is gorgeous! Not too bright, but a really fun pink, like bubble gum, but a shade or two darker, with maybe a hint of magenta. And the lining is to die for! I just wish they sold a matching hat, scarf, and mitten set! There are tons of cool pockets hidden all over the jacket. It looks great with jeans, and I can't wait to take it out on the slopes this winter. It is incredibly warm and I just feel happy when I put this jacket on! [...]

Comments: I was afraid of the blue color but needed a size 12 so I ordered it anyways. The blue is awesome - not quite as dark as in the picture. I saw this coat at a recent ski show for [$]. I came right home and bought it for this bargain price. I love it. The print liner is really a nice touch, makes it very unique. Bring on the snow!
