Comments: At around USD 50 its a great buy. With the insulation the typical use is at spring/autumn. To warm for summer days. The sleeves are a bit on the long side, but works fine with me as i prefer them rather a bit long than to short.

Nice Jacket for price sleeves way 2 long
By Don from Detroit, MI on 12/30/2007
Sizing:
Feels true to size
Sleeve Length:
Feels too long
Pros:
Attractive Design, Durable
Cons:
Sleeves too long for 35
Best Uses:
Daily Use, Travel
Describe Yourself:
50 year old, Bargain Shopper, Casual
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments: Right weight for 30 - 50 degrees F. The sleeve length is way out of proportion. I'm a 35 sleeve, and the sleeves cover 2/3 of my hand. I like the jacket a lot, but I do not recommend strictly because it will not fit most men's arms properly. If you have 35 - 37 length arms, I do highly recommend.

It's good, but not great (for Patagonia)

Feels too long
Pros:
Durable, Environmental friendly, Versatile, Warm
Best Uses:
Around town, Daily Use, Going Out, Travel
Describe Yourself:
Bargain Shopper, Casual, Outdoor Enthusiast
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: The jacket isn't quite as stylish as I'd like to see from Patagonia. It is very functional and surprisingly warm (has a thick liner which unexpectedly makes it a bit bulky). Think of a Carhart lined denim jacket and not a normal jean jacket. [...] I wouldn't pay full price for it. It runs quite large, if you are anywhere between sizes get the next one down. I'm 6'0" tall and 170lbs and am swimming in a large.

Comments: I like this jacket a lot, although I've yet to actually wear it in cold weather. I would imagine it's going to be very warm. It's a bit on the heavy side, but that should mean it'll be both warm and durable. It might run a little big. I'm usually either a large or an extra-large. I got the XL and might have preferred the L. Otherwise, it's a sweet jacket that I hope to wear for the next 20 years.

Comments: This is a great jacket all around. It looks great, keeps you warm, and can be had here for a great price. When you add in the fact that it is made from sustainable hemp and polyester from recycled plastic bottles among other things- it is hard to beat.
