The Petunia color is a wonderful medium lavender trimmed in a grape-colored lace. The silk chemise is soft with finished French seams. This is such an elegant piece that is can be work as a slip under a dress, layered over pants as a tunic, or alone for slumber time.

Was this supposed to be worn with boy shorts?? The fabric was lovely and though the lace did not seem to be pure silk like the rest, it had a little stretch to make the piece (marginally) more comfortable. Not too comfortable for sleeping or walking around but great for looking glamorous in a retro/40s way.

Silk-satin fabric is dense and opaque, not at all flimsy. Beautiful workmanship; adjustable spaghetti straps.
