Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:

Comments: I own a pair of these I purchased last year (and wore all the time!), same size, but these are cut significantly smaller. (A few other differences also, like an actual tag instead of printed on inside of waist hem). I love these pants, but I'm going to have to drop a few pounds to get this pair to fit. (I tried last year's pair on to make sure it wasn't just me! ;-) Recommend ordering a size larger than you normally wear in "Mountain Hardware" pants.

Comments: The product description said to order one size up because the product runs small...boy was that a mistake! I definitely have a pair of hips on me and when I ordered the larger size and tried the capris on, they fell right off, down to my ankles. They were ridiculouly too big. I don't understand the other reviews saying they were too small! I sent them back and ordered my regular size and am hoping they will fit better. If they do, the material is super light weight and seems like it would be great for rock climbing and hiking, but who knows!

Comments: I got these for my September 2007 China trip and they were truly indispensable! They are very lightweight, so I could wash them in the sink and they'd be dry by morning. They have plenty of pockets (almost too many), and the black pair are somewhat stylish. I highly recommend these, but do size up one full size!

Length:
Feels true to length
Pros:
Lightweight, Packable, Stylish
Cons:
Poor Material or Construction, WAY small fit
Best Uses:
Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments: These had a strange fit. The waist was too small, but the thighs and pelvic/stomach areas (usually the tight spots...) were more than generous. The next size up fit about the same in the waist and even more generous in the thigh/stomach. I usually wear a 4, and had to go to a 8, even then, they didn't fit right. The style and material are great though....
Cut for a low-rise person & order UP
By Road Rash from Albuquerque on 12/19/2007
Length:
Feels true to length
Pros:
Lightweight, Packable
Cons:
Poor Material or Construction, too low rise for size
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments: I have a long rise so this pant may work for you if you have a low rise. I ordered one size up-- the overall sizing was thus correct; the pant is just cut weird.
