Good set of knee warmers, size matters. By Fippo from Phoenix on 01/31/2008 Best Uses: All-Around, Commuting, Long Rides, Mountain Biking, Road Biking, Short Rides, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are good for general use. They're not going to keep you very warm in really cold weather but they weren't meant to. I used them for biking and hiking and they work well. Just keeping my knees warmer causes less fatigue. SIZE IS IMPORTANT... my legs measure 18" around (about 4" above the knee) and 14.5" around (about 4" below the knee). I got the medium and I should have gone with the small.
Blocking the cold air from the knees By Dave from Pittsburgh, Pa. on 12/06/2007 Pros: Comfortable Fit, Highly Adjustable, Lightweight, Stabilizes, Tough Best Uses: Cold Weather, Jumpers Knee, Long Rides, Mountain Biking, Road Biking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I experience much less discomfort from the Jumpers Knee while wearing the warmers. I will slip them on to go out and shovel snow or walk to the market in the cold weather.
