By Trout, the fisherwoman from Baltimore, MD on 08/06/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Stain Resistant, Stylish, Washes Well, Wrinkle-Free Best Uses: Casual Work Days, Leisure Wear, Special Occasions Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Classic Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this product to wade in the rivers since I am a fisherwoman. It is perfect for that. And it is a cool casual pant to wear around town on hot summer days to do errands in. It dries in the dryer in exactly 8 minutes, thereby eliminating the need to stay in the laundromat on vacation for endless time.
By Loves to hike from Buckhannon, WV on 07/29/2008 Best Uses: Casual Work Days, Leisure Wear, To Work Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The first time I wore the plum colored pants the color bled all over my white t-shirt, yuk.
By Practical Small Towner from Winchester, IN on 07/28/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Washes Well Cons: Color comes off on skin Describe Yourself: practical Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A good lightweight version of Gramicci pants. The dye does seem to come off on my skin through the first few wearings, even after washing. They do dry very quickly and are nice and cool when there's a breeze on hot days.
By Quick dry Sandy from St. Paul, MN on 07/26/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Washes Well, Wrinkle-Free Describe Yourself: Career, Casual, Classic Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have always loves these quick dry pants - have been wearing them for years. But a couple of years ago, Gramicci must have altered the design to make the lower legs (below the knees) wider. I don't care for this--the extra fabric just gets in the way....and the pants are less flattering.

By Sailor Girl from Washington NC on 07/22/2008 Cons: Baggy in the rear end Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Eclectic, Sexy Bottom Line: Comments: I usually love this brand as it is high quality and well constructed, but these pants have a strange fit. The rear end is very baggy and looks like you are wearing a diaper underneath. I retuned these.
I would buy this product again, but... By Trail Hiker from Iowa on 07/21/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Quick-dry material, Washes Well Cons: Color Not As Expected, Low Quality Best Uses: Hiking - backpacking, On The Weekend Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered this product for hiking-backpacking because they are a quick-dry and comfortable pant and they were on sale. I got both a medium and large. I usually wear a medium, but I thought I'd be safe. The medium WOULD have fit, but they were sewn weird and the left leg was tighter than the right leg. It seemed like poor workmanship. The color was lighter than I expected also and I imagine will get very dirty. I kept the large ones, but they are a little too big and baggy.
Great pants, better than jeans By kalyson from sacramento on 07/18/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Fast-drying, Flattering, Light-weight Best Uses: Casual Work Days, Comfort-Oriented, On The Weekend, Rock climbing, To School Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend These pants are great. I love them, in spite of a few flaws. They are super light and breathable. They dry very, very fast if you sweat or get them wet. The material is also very strong and resistant to damage, which is astounding given how light it is.
Gramicci has had some production problems, though. At one point came out with ridiculously big waists, but then I just send them back for replacements. (They were aware of the problem.) The new ones were fine. Another issue is that if you use "Shout" or certain stain removers, the colors fade. In fact, the colors are not that resilient in general, but if you handle them gently by using cold water they hold up pretty well.
I live in them, so these problems are pretty minor. They are much more comfortable than jeans. I guess I may have bought about 40 pairs in various colors over the years...
Good quality if fit works for you By Farm Girl from MA on 07/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Washes Well, Wrinkle-Free Cons: baggy, Falls Too High Above The Waist Best Uses: Comfort-Oriented, On The Weekend, To School Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual, Sporty Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Liked the color and fabric. Length is as expected and being 5.0ft I expect to hem. They fit like the original G's and being petite I find them very long waisted but with the light weight fabric of the quick dry pants they are easily folded over a couple times. Then they fit great and are very comfortable. Do wish Gramicci would resize them to fit smaller people. They are so comfortable.
