New Balance (Vesper) Great WorkoutPants By AL from NC on 05/25/2008 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Gym Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I primarily use the pants for the gym and casual wear. They are very comfortable and durable. There is nothing that I have to say Negative. I would recommend them.
By Fussy Cheapskate from The Great State of Michigan on 02/28/2008 Pros: Good Value, Presentable, Soft Cons: Narrow waistband, No zip pocket Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Basic but adequate. Calf zips are just long enough - adequate. The two slash pockets are neither too shallow nor luxuriously deep - adequate again. I'd like them a lot better with at least one zippered hip pocket. Fabric is light and nicely woven. Fabric allows free movement, but the pants still manage to keep their shape. I would describe their "tapered fit" as a medium cut, so they're neither baggy, nor immodest. Vertical seam down the front vaguely resembles a pressed crease. They don't look out of place in the gym OR the supermarket. But if you wear them to the supermarket, put your wallet safely in your sock.
Comfortable with a nice look By T, runner and gym go-er from Belgium on 01/04/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great for casual wear around the house or to the gym on cold days. It is a good compromise between a loose comfortable fit and a slimmer cut for a nice appearance.
More comfy than they loook By ilovethesnow from La Grande, OR on 01/03/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Gym, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Comments: I bought these to wear outside in semi-warm weather, rain, and under snow pants. They are NOT at all what I thought. I was expecting more of a running tights, etc. They have a mostly cotton feel to them and are very comfy for lounging around in. They won't work in the rain really at all and unless they are under something will not work for cooler weather. Over all I love them to wear around the house and perhaps to the gym. They don't have the real exercise wear look to them, so I could wear them to run errands, etc and not feel like I'm walking around town in running tights.
By J from Colorado Springs on 12/28/2007 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Cold Weather, Gym, Running Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wears well in freezing temps and breathes well. Loose enough for running and still trim enough to not be bulky.
By Mogul from Woodland Park, Colorado on 12/27/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these because there were supposed to be a 29" inseam. They're 30".
By bobinho from Atlanta, GA on 12/22/2007 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Gym, Running, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A little bit lighter than I had expected, but great quality and very comfortable
I would buy these pants again By MS from Evans, CO on 12/17/2007 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Gym, Running, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great for exercise workout. I would buy again, but... By Theladymiche from New Jersey on 12/15/2007 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Cons: Too short before wash Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Be careful if you are tall. Pants run short. Also, when running, zipper opens on its own. Otherwise, just what the runner ordered.
By RB running man from Nebraska on 12/11/2007 Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This needs a tighter ankle fit. Not quite warm enough for my winter running. Otherwise, OK for the price.
