By Simplicity Gal from Newport, WA on 06/16/2008 Pros: Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable, Stylish Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Comments: I love the way these pants fit. I am usually a size 8 and I bought a 10 based on other reviews and they fit great! I came back and bought another pair! These and my tsunami bermudas will be wardrobe staples this summer! Pants dry very quickly too. I put them in the washer but not the dryer and they dried hanging on a chair in my living room within a few hours. They are awesome!
Nice looking pant but a bit snug By JB from Northern Canada on 09/28/2007 Pros: Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable, Stylish Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These a great looking pants but like others have said, they do run a bit small. Columbia is great but not very consistent with their sizing. I have a few pairs of Columbia pants and these are by far the snuggest of the bunch (butt area). I would recommend to a friend but suggest a larger size.
Great for Travel, but runs small By Europe Traveler from Colorado Springs, CO on 09/18/2007 Pros: Breathable, Dries quickly, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable, Stylish Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer, Casual/ Recreational, Traveler Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants are great for travel. They pack great and they dry very quickly. The only negative is that I thought they ran way to small. I ordered one size bigger and they fit great. If you want to iron them, be sure to use a very cool setting. I ended up burning the first pair I bought. It may be best not to iron them at all.
