No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the overall fit and appearance of the shoes, though they feel a bit narrow. I've found they're comfortable with thinner socks -- which are fine with me -- but not with thicker athletic or hiking socks.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's more of a mongrel running shoe-hiking boot than a walking shoe and I think I'll like it better in cooler weather. But it's a New Balance and I still think they're miles ahead of anyone else.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is at least the third pair of NB walking shoes that I have bought. I buy them as they wear out. The pair I was replacing are made of leather and because of the design are not 'stretchable'. I am always reluctant to buy shoes on line because of sizing and return issues. But since I was deal with a well known brand I figured there would be consistance. Guess what, the sizing was off by a half size [...] I returned them asking for a refund. The moral is, don't by shoes on line.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Since I switched to walkers from running shoes I have less pain in the hips and knees because the heel is lower. I use these primarily on a treadmill. A good NB shoe.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these shoes to replace some worn out walking shoes. I have been pleased with the shoe's appearance and they have worn comfortably so far on the half dozen walks I've taken. I have also worn them to work for casual Fridays. The tip from Sierra about the shoes running a half size smaller, was helpful making the fit, I only wish now I had bought two pair.
