No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered these after shopping for 2 weeks for stylish boots with a funky edge and good support for walking in. I normally wear an 8.5E or 9 depending on make so I ordered a 9 but I could barely squeeze my foot into these. The narrowest point is just behind the ball of the foot and I had regular cotton sox on. Too bad, I was looking forward to wearing these.
